How Do I Determine the Cost of RF Welding & Heat Sealing Services?

April 28, 2015

There are a couple of factors to consider when determining the cost of radio frequency welding and other heat sealing services at SealWerks. You will either need to consider what material will form the product or the application of the product, which will help us determine an accurate cost for radio frequency welding and other processes.

What Materials Will Be Used in Fabrication?

SealWerks offers several sealing services to fabricate products, including radio frequency sealing. If you can identify the materials that will form your product, simply provide an accurate drawing that shows specific dimensions and construction. Based on this information we will be able to determine which heat sealing process or other fabrication service will work best for your project, and subsequently determine the cost.

What is the RF Welded or Heat Sealed Product Application?

For clients who cannot identify the product materials, AmCraft will need to understand the specific application and function of the product. You should also let us know about the criticalness of the overall dimensions. We will also want to know about the kind of stress the product will experience. Once we have this information, we can then provide several product material options and detail both their advantages and disadvantages. If we have any additional questions for you, we will ask you before providing a final unit cost. We will divide the cost based on quantity and the calculated time it takes to complete production.

For fluid or gas containment products, you will need to provide us with the target containment volume as well as the specific fluid or gas the product will contain.
