Where Do I Start with Radio Frequency Welding?

April 28, 2015

SealWerks can help you determine if radio frequency welding is best suited for your project, and we will also guide you from the beginning of the process to the final step. We develop feasible timelines and individual production goals to ensure that the manufacturing process goes smoothly. If you would like a non-disclosure agreement prior to beginning, we can provide this as well.

Here are the steps involved in the manufacturing process.

What You Can Provide for SealWerks

Before we begin planning the fabrication of your project, you can provide us with an actual sample of any existing product, or give us drawings or photos of what you would like manufactured. You are responsible for making sure that legal rights for manufacturing your product is secured.

Creating a Production Timeline

We help with design and process planning of your product, determining if radio frequency welding is right for your project based on the materials used. Then we source material and cost options, forming a realistic cost and production timeline for the project.

Radio Frequency Welding Process Steps

The actual fabrication process is as follows, and we will guide you from start to finish:

  1. Design and engineer drawings
  2. Customer reviews for possible revisions and approval
  3. Internal fabrication schedule is established
  4. Quality control inspections are scheduled
  5. Final inspection is scheduled to meet AQL or other industry standards
  6. Final product is approved, packaged and shipped

The manufacturing services at SealWerks are ideal for polymer, flexible films and vinyl product fabrication. We offer a variety of services other than radio frequency welding based on individual needs, including hot air sealing, hot wedge welding, solvent bonding and commercial sewing.

If you would like to get started with product manufacturing, contact SealWerks for help with your project.
